Interior designer Wrightson Stewart captured the historical integrity of this wool store apartment located in the Brisbane near-city suburb of Teneriffe.
The unadorned, heightened, and industrial space allowed for an honest interior that placed emphasis on its strong and dynamic architectural features: original oak flooring, exposed wood and steel trussed, traditional brick, architectural ceiling details, and oversized sash windows.
The amount of natural light filling the space allowed for a dramatic selection of materials by the Wrightson Stewart design team with the high-end finish and authenticity of the materials counterbalancing the grittier design elements of the pre-existing space.
