Utz-Sanby Architects designed this new home is located on top of the ridge overlooking Middle Harbour, offers spectacular views over this remarkable waterway to the north, east and west.
Middle Harbour, a semi–mature tide dominated drowned valley estuary, is the northern arm of Port Jackson, an inlet of the Tasman Sea located north of Sydney central business district on the coast of New South Wales, Australia.
This is the second home Utz-Sanby Architects designed for this family of five, testament to a great working relationship between architect and client.
This home was designed for the transition between living with children to co-habiting with adults.
It required a number of different living areas and ancillary spaces to provide privacy and separation as well as cater for large gatherings, often held at the same time in different areas of the house.
