H-E Architects designed a warehouse conversion in Annandale, a suburb in the Inner West of Sydney.
The project features an exemplary design with a strong focus on finish.
And it was eight years in the making.
Situated on a large corner block, old buildings were completely gutted and transformed to accommodate the four-bedroom home.
This multi-level conversion was designed to retain as much of the original brick, steel, and timber fabric as possible.
Demolished industrial beams, metal girders, and timbers from the site were claimed and reused.
From finding the site to completing the finishes, the project benefited from the close and extensive engagement between designer and client.
H&E’s considered and adaptive approach resulted in a truly unique stronghold of luxury and inner-calm on the bustling fringes of Sydney.
