Woollahra Valley Residence

Woollahra Valley Residence

The clients of interior designers Hare + Klein purchased this penthouse in a new residential block prior to construction completion.

That provided the Hare + Klein design team ample scope to make major changes to the interior.

Space planning by the architect created generous spaces with deep portals repeated throughout, framing rooms and views.

The apartment has house-like proportions with high ceilings and a mansard roof that creates interesting shapes within some of the rooms.

Hare + Klein lined the deep portals with timber emphasizing the transition between rooms and creating depth, texture, and contrast between dark and light finishes.

The level of detail in the joinery and the finishes throughout are refined, richly layered, and meticulously detailed.

The furnishings are in keeping with the interior design language, with layers of texture and colour, shape, and form creating a cohesive home reflecting the owners’ personalities.
