Located on the waterfront of the Brisbane River, the Riverside Centre is a Harry Seidler designed commercial skyscraper.
Deloitte currently holds the naming rights to the Riverside Centre.
Completed in 1986, it rises 146 m above ground and is surrounded by other A-grade office towers including Riparian Plaza and One One One Eagle Street.
At 51,600 m2, and 42 levels with 37 tenant floors, Riverside Centre is one of Brisbane’s most sought after commercial buildings.
Riverside’s tower and plaza, with its iconic wave-beam, has become a prestigious CBD address offering outstanding views of the Brisbane River.
The building is owned by General Property Trust.

The 40-story office tower’s triangular floor plan allows for more than two-thirds of the offices to face the water.
The base of the building fronts the Brisbane River with a CityCat wharf, has many cafes and restaurants, and is the site for the Riverside markets on Sundays.
The Riverwalk, which links the central business district to suburbs both up and down the Brisbane River was built between the water and the public space surrounding the skyscraper.
A large curved beam further defines the open plaza at this waterfront edge.
Inclining aluminium shades protect the full height glass walls of the two sides of the tower which are more exposed to the sun.
The elevations of the tower are pierced with recessed “facade gardens”.
The Riverside Centre began winning awards immediately after completion, from the RAIA Sir Zelman Cowen Award in 1987, to the more recent AIA (QLD) Enduring State Architecture Award in 2011.
