Once they shared a womb, now they share a room; twin girls needing their own space, yet wanting to stay close.
In their bedroom stands a timber pod designed by Architecture Architecture.
It’s got desks, shelves, beds, pin boards, and slots for sleepover mattresses.
And it stands clear of the twin doors and windows, ensuring free movement of light, air, and restless limbs.
Even twins have their differences.
One is ordered, the other chaotic.
Where one has fish wallpaper, the other has jungle theme.
When differences warrant time apart: two doors slide out dividing the bedroom.
Should a treaty require negotiation or a whisper shared, porthole hatches are able to be spun open or quickly shut again.
Acknowledging all eventualities, the two pod halves can undock, allowing the twins to one day colonise their very own rooms.
